"The Idea of You" is a study on exposure. The stage space is conceived as an installation device that materializes through a process of visual accumulation of signs. The images survive through the dancer's movement to return multiple times, altered by having been inhabited by the body, disturbing the gaze. The choreographic composition generates a dynamic of unstable relationships of latency and awakenings, of emergences and blurrings, in a tangle of times, in an inconstant visual regime. The human body, which generates an opening, is the instrument for activating a discourse about and around the identity of the images.

THE IDEA OF YOU arises from the desire to explore the concept of exposure. In particular, I focused on delving into the connection between performative action, artwork, and exhibition environment, in order to fully understand how these different components can influence each other, without a predefined hierarchy. From this perspective of expanded body and choreography, I reflected on the methods of installation realization and the potential interaction with images.
The performance takes shape through three fundamental themes of figurative art: landscape, portrait, and still life.
